Eddie Redmayne is set to earn £1 million per episode for his role in Sky and Peacock's upcoming thriller series, 'The Day of the Jackal,' making a total of £10 million for the 10-part series. The show, which has a hefty budget of £100 million, is Sky's most expensive series to date. Redmayne plays the titular character, an elusive lone assassin, opposite Lashana Lynch as a British intelligence officer. The series is a modern reimagining of Frederick Forsyth’s 1971 novel and is produced by Carnival Films. The show will air across the UK, Europe, and the US, and promises a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe. Redmayne also serves as an executive producer on the project.
