RTÉ, BBC Schedule Shake-ups Remove Late Late Show, Morning Live
The Late Late Show, hosted by Patrick Kielty, will not air next week due to a schedule adjustment for the Easter Holidays, with its usual time slot on April 18 being replaced by the sports drama movie 'Air', starring Matt Damon and Viola Davis. Kielty is taking a break similar to last year's Good Friday absence, and the show is set to return on April 25. This week's episode features an interview with Amanda Knox discussing her life post-acquittal, along with appearances by Bruno Tonioli, former Irish footballers Johnny Giles and Liam Brady, and comedian Dermot Whelan promoting his new book. Additionally, the band Amble will perform their new single during the episode. Meanwhile, the BBC's Morning Live has also been pulled from its schedule starting April 14, with its slot taken over by 'Rip Off Britain' and 'Dr Xand's Con or Cure', and will not return until May 5. This is not the first time Morning Live has faced such schedule changes, as it has previously gone off air for breaks.
