WestJet Expands Summer Flights from Halifax to Saskatoon, Regina, Vancouver

WestJet has announced a significant expansion of its Canadian domestic network for summer 2025, introducing new non-stop routes from Halifax to Saskatoon and Regina, and reinstating flights between Halifax and Vancouver. The airline is also launching new service between Winnipeg and St. John’s and increasing frequencies on several popular routes, such as from Halifax to Winnipeg and Edmonton, and Calgary to Deer Lake. These enhancements are designed to provide Canadians with more travel options across the country and facilitate easier access to WestJet’s growing transatlantic network from Halifax and St. John’s, with direct flights to major European cities including Barcelona, Paris, Amsterdam, Dublin, Edinburgh, and London. WestJet executives highlighted that the expanded schedule supports both leisure and business travelers, as well as regional economic growth.
