AMAs Return to Las Vegas on Memorial Day

The American Music Awards (AMAs) will return on Memorial Day, May 26, 2025, airing live from Las Vegas on CBS and streaming on Paramount+. This marks the first annual broadcast since 2022, shifting from its traditional fall schedule to spring, and relocating from its previous network, ABC, to CBS. The 50th anniversary special in October 2024 on CBS saw a significant viewer increase, reaching over 6.1 million viewers, which is a 53% rise from the 2022 broadcast. This strategic move is expected to capitalize on the success of the anniversary special, which was also the most-streamed in AMAs' history.
