Hulu Teases New Comedy 'Chad Powers'

Glen Powell is set to star in a new Hulu comedy series titled 'Chad Powers,' where he plays dual roles as former college quarterback Russ Holliday and his alter ego Chad Powers. The series, co-created by Powell and Michael Waldron, is based on an episode from Eli Manning's show 'Eli’s Places,' where Manning went undercover as Chad Powers for Penn State football tryouts. The plot follows Holliday, who, after being expelled from his college football team for misconduct, uses prosthetics to disguise himself and join a struggling Southern team under a new identity. The show is set to premiere in Fall 2025 and features a cast that includes Perry Mattfeld, Quentin Plair, and others. Executive producers include both Eli and Peyton Manning, with the series promising a comedic take on college football culture reminiscent of 'Ted Lasso.'
