New Jersey Man Charged in Teen Assault Case
Keith Hahn, a 46-year-old registered sex offender from Toms River, was arrested and charged with multiple felonies, including aggravated sexual assault and kidnapping, after allegedly assaulting a 14-year-old girl on September 29. The girl, lost while walking along Route 70, accepted a ride from Hahn, who instead drove her to a remote area where he sexually assaulted her before taking her to a Walmart. Following the assault, the girl managed to escape and reported the incident to the police. Hahn was apprehended at his home on October 1, where investigators executed search warrants on his residence and vehicle. This incident marks a continuation of Hahn's criminal history, as he was previously convicted of sexual offenses in 1995 and 1999. He is currently being held at the Ocean County Jail, awaiting a detention hearing.
