Vu, playing her first tournament since March, secured her win with a 5-foot birdie putt on the third extra hole at Blythefield Country Club. Thompson, who announced this will be her last full season, and Grace Kim, who led by five shots entering the final day, both missed long birdie attempts in the playoff. Vu's victory is her fifth LPGA Tour win and the largest comeback of the season, overcoming an eight-stroke deficit.
