Mandhana Sets Multiple ODI Records in Tri-Series Final
Smriti Mandhana scored a commanding 116 off 101 balls in the Women's Tri-Nation ODI Series final against Sri Lanka in Colombo, leading India to a total of 342/7. Her 11th ODI century moved her past England’s Tammy Beaumont for third place on the all-time Women's ODI century list, behind only Meg Lanning and Suzie Bates. Mandhana also became the second Indian woman to surpass 4,000 ODI runs, joining Mithali Raj, and climbed to ninth among all-time highest run-scorers in Women's ODIs. She set a new Indian record for most sixes in Women's ODIs, overtaking Harmanpreet Kaur, and her innings featured 15 boundaries and two sixes. Key partnerships with Pratika Rawal and Harleen Deol anchored the Indian innings. Mandhana's achievements reinforce her status as one of the game's elite batters.
