San Diego Man Arrested in Ex-Girlfriend's Disappearance

Eduardo Magana, 48, was arrested on suspicion of murdering and kidnapping his 33-year-old ex-girlfriend, who was reported missing under suspicious circumstances in San Diego. Detectives determined the woman was likely deceased and identified Magana as the primary suspect. Authorities traced Magana to La Puente in Los Angeles County and detained him during a traffic stop in South Gate. He was subsequently booked into San Diego County Jail, where he is being held without bail and faces charges of murder and kidnapping. The victim's body has not been found, and the cause of death has not been disclosed.
