HBO's Harry Potter Series to Start Filming in 2025

HBO's highly anticipated Harry Potter television series is set to begin filming in summer 2025 at Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden, where the original films were shot. According to director Mark Mylod, a staggering 32,000 children auditioned for the roles of key characters, with final casting decisions expected in January. The series aims to remain faithful to the books, including canonical ages for characters like Professor Snape, and will focus on the naturalism of storytelling.
