New Hampshire Officer Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

John Giarrusso III, a 48-year-old police officer from the Seabrook, New Hampshire Police Department, has been arrested on multiple child pornography charges, including possession and distribution of explicit material involving minors. The investigation, led by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, revealed that Giarrusso allegedly uploaded graphic videos depicting child sexual abuse and engaged in disturbing discussions about sex with children as young as seven on the Kik messaging app. Following his arrest, he was placed on administrative leave and has pleaded not guilty to the charges. Giarrusso, who had previously participated in fundraising for programs aiding sexually abused children, is now facing serious allegations that contradict his professional role. His bail was set at $100,000, and he is scheduled to return to court for a probable cause hearing. The Seabrook Police Department has stated that it takes allegations against its officers seriously and will cooperate fully with the investigation.
