Comedian Halts Spokane Show After Cardiac Arrest

During a Spokane, Washington show, comedian Drew Lynch stopped his set after an elderly audience member, later identified as Mr. Wende, went into cardiac arrest. Audience members immediately called 911 and performed CPR; Lynch wrote the man had no pulse for more than five minutes before, through the crowd’s efforts, he was revived and paramedics took him to hospital. Lynch, visibly emotional, praised the crowd for coming together, shared video of the episode on TikTok, and later returned to the hospital to finish his set in front of Mr. Wende and his family. Witnesses said the quick response likely saved the man’s life.
