Darius Rucker Arrested Following Substance Analysis

Country singer Darius Rucker was pulled over by police in Williamson County, Tennessee on February 19, 2023, due to an expired license plate. Police found a jar containing 14 pills of psilocybin, a THC vape pen, and a small blunt in the vehicle. Rucker was released without charge pending lab results. In December 2023, after the substances were identified, an arrest warrant was issued. Rucker was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of license plate violation.
