White Sox Sign Drury, Gray; Claim Eisert

The Chicago White Sox have signed infielder Brandon Drury to a minor-league contract with an invitation to spring training, following a challenging 2024 season with the Los Angeles Angels where he batted .169. Drury, a former Silver Slugger winner, has demonstrated potential with a .263 average and 28 home runs in 2022 while playing for the Cincinnati Reds and San Diego Padres. Additionally, the White Sox signed infielder Tristan Gray and claimed left-hander Brandon Eisert off waivers from the Tampa Bay Rays. Eisert made his major league debut last year with the Toronto Blue Jays and was acquired by Tampa Bay before being designated for assignment. The team also made roster adjustments by designating right-hander Steven Wilson for assignment. Drury's versatility in playing multiple positions, except catcher and center field, could make him a valuable asset for the White Sox.
