UK, Germany Sign Landmark Treaty on Defense, Security, Migration

The United Kingdom and Germany have signed a landmark Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation, marking the largest bilateral agreement between the two countries since 1945. Signed by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz during Merz's first visit to the UK, the treaty covers defense, economic collaboration, and migration.
