A U.S. Postal Service worker from Washington, D.C., celebrated a life-changing $1 million win on a Maryland Lottery Millionaire’s Club scratch-off ticket, purchased during an unplanned stop at a 7-Eleven in Harwood. The man matched the winning number 54 and expressed his gratitude, saying, 'Thank you, Lord.' After 30 years of service, the win has made retirement more attainable, and he plans to use part of the prize to pay off bills. This scratch-off ticket, which went on sale in July, has three remaining $1 million top prizes and other smaller prizes still unclaimed. The 7-Eleven where he bought the ticket will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the top-prize winning ticket.
