Kevin Costner revealed he worked under challenging conditions while filming 'Hidden Figures' in 2016, suffering from kidney stones and requiring a morphine drip for the last two weeks of production. Despite being in significant pain, Costner maintained his work ethic, never missing a day of filming. The actor had to keep his sleeves rolled down to hide bruising from the IV drip, and he admitted it was a painful experience. Nonetheless, Costner cherished working with Octavia Spencer and praised the film's director, Theodore Melfi, for his collaboration. Costner also discussed his approach to filmmaking, emphasizing strong female characters in his movies, including his upcoming epic 'Horizon: An American Saga'.
