Nobu Plans £360 Million Manchester Hotel, Residences Project
Nobu Hospitality has announced an ambitious development in Manchester called Viadux 2, which will feature a hotel, restaurant, and the UK’s first Nobu-branded residences. Standing at 246 meters, this project will be the tallest building outside London and represents a £360 million investment in the city's luxury landscape. The 76-story tower will include 160 hotel rooms, event spaces, and a signature Nobu restaurant, alongside 452 residences that showcase refined Japanese-inspired design and premium amenities. With Manchester emerging as a prime destination for high-end hospitality and real estate, Nobu's entry is seen as a significant milestone in elevating the city’s luxury offerings. The project is currently awaiting a positive planning decision this spring. Nobu's CEO emphasized the importance of strong partnerships for success, highlighting their collaboration with the award-winning developer Salboy.
