Clemson Leads Preseason All-ACC Team, Klubnik Named POY

Clemson football is the overwhelming favorite to win the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) in 2025, leading the preseason All-ACC team with 11 players selected, the most of any school. Senior quarterback Cade Klubnik was voted the ACC Preseason Player of the Year by the media, receiving 146 out of 183 votes, highlighting his breakout 2024 season where he led Clemson to an ACC title and a College Football Playoff berth. Klubnik’s impressive stats included 3,639 passing yards, 36 touchdowns, and 463 rushing yards last season. Alongside Klubnik, Clemson had six offensive and five defensive players named to the preseason team, reflecting a balanced team expected to contend strongly again. Other ACC teams with multiple preseason selections include Pitt with three, and Duke, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Miami, and SMU with two each. The 2025 ACC Football Championship Game is scheduled for December 6 in Charlotte, North Carolina, with Clemson positioned as the team to beat.
