Sigur Rós Launch Final Leg of North American Orchestral Tour

Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Rós has announced the final leg of their ongoing orchestral world tour, which will take place across North America in November 2025, following European and UK dates in September and October. The tour features collaborations with conductor Robert Ames and the Wordless Music Orchestra, performing songs from their latest album ÁTTA (2023) as well as celebrating the 20th anniversary of their album Takk… with special reissues and performances, including an orchestral version of the song “Andvari.” The North American dates include stops in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, with performances scheduled in cities like San Diego, Vancouver, Los Angeles, and Mexico City. Tickets go on sale to the general public on June 6, 2025, with presales already underway, and the band continues to emphasize orchestral accompaniment as their standard touring method. This tour follows their recent successful orchestral shows in Australia and is part of a broader artistic phase that includes revisiting archival works and releasing new orchestral material.
