President Droupadi Murmu

President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to visit Odisha on October 23 and 24, where she will be the chief guest at the 75th anniversary of Gopabandhu Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya in Puri. Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated infrastructure projects in the Hudkeshwar-Narsala area, including a sewage system worth Rs 115.46 crore and a Rs 35 crore road project. Additionally, President Murmu recently concluded a significant three-nation tour to Africa, focusing on enhancing India’s diplomatic ties and economic cooperation with Algeria, Mauritania, and Malawi. During her visit to Africa, she emphasized mutual cooperation in various sectors and will sign several agreements to boost trade and investment. Furthermore, President Murmu hosted President Mohamed Muizzu of the Maldives during a state visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and economic partnerships. This series of events reflects India's intent to reinforce its strategic ties both regionally and globally.
