Multiple Animal Attacks Reported in Bahraich

Recent wild animal attacks in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh, have left multiple individuals injured, with local residents attributing the incidents to wolves. However, forest officials suggest that the attackers may actually be jackals or dogs, as no wolf footprints were found at the sites of the attacks. Among the victims, a 26-year-old woman and a six-year-old boy sustained injuries from animal bites, while a 50-year-old woman was also attacked in a separate incident. The forest department is conducting intensive search operations to identify the animals responsible and to restore safety in the affected villages. Meanwhile, fear has spread in nearby Aligarh district after a goat was killed, prompting villagers to demand increased security measures. The situation has led to the launch of 'Operation Bhediya' to capture the animals causing terror in the region.
