Businesswoman Yessenia Torres Killed in Daylight Murder Plot, Five Arrested

Yessenia Torres, a 44-year-old businesswoman, was shot and killed in broad daylight outside Burger Point in San Bernardino, California, on January 10. Surveillance footage revealed that the murder was part of a hired plot orchestrated by her estranged husband, Sergio Reveles, amid a contentious divorce. Police arrested five individuals linked to the crime, including the gunman Geraldo Llamas-Torres and getaway driver Arnoldo Ruelas, who were identified through eyewitness accounts. The attack was described as brazen, occurring in front of restaurant patrons, with a total of nine rounds fired during the incident. Authorities recovered over $286,000 in cash and multiple firearms related to the plot, which was motivated by disputes over multimillion-dollar assets between Torres and Reveles. All suspects are charged with murder and are currently being held without bail, with a hearing scheduled for March 14.
