65-Year-Old NJ Man Killed in Fatal Hit-and-Run Pennsylvania Route 22
A 65-year-old man from South Amboy, New Jersey, was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on the eastbound off-ramp to Route 512 in Hanover Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Troopers responded to the incident early Wednesday morning, finding the man deceased at the scene, though it remains unclear whether he was crossing the highway or struck along the shoulder. The offending vehicle did not stop, and the ramp was closed for about three hours, reopening around 9:15 a.m. The Northampton County Coroner's Office has scheduled an autopsy to determine the exact cause and manner of death. Authorities are seeking witnesses and any information related to the crash, urging people to contact the Pennsylvania State Police Bethlehem Station referencing the incident number PA25-964881.
