Suspect arrested in east Las Vegas shooting, two dead

In east Las Vegas, two men were shot and killed following a verbal altercation in a parking lot early Sunday morning. The suspect, 24-year-old Julio Bautista-Martinez, was arrested and charged with two counts of open murder. The incident occurred on East Owens Avenue at approximately 1:30 a.m. as the victims were leaving a party at a nearby banquet hall. Bautista-Martinez allegedly fled the scene but was later apprehended by police and is being held without bail. The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release the identities of the victims.
