The three-part series aired in June and followed Edmonds and his wife Elizabeth Davies as they started a new life and business in New Zealand. Although the show was well-received by critics and viewers, it attracted modest ratings of 1-1.5 million viewers per episode, which was insufficient for a renewal. Edmonds expressed enthusiasm about living on the Isle of Man, praising its strong community spirit and calling it the 'Smile of Man,' but he confirmed that New Zealand remains his principal home. Sources also indicated that severe flooding at Edmonds' New Zealand estate hampered filming and contributed to the show's cancellation. ITV confirmed there are no current plans for more episodes, but the show remains available on ITVX for streaming.
