Dan Levy Launches Untitled Netflix Crime Comedy Series

Dan Levy, best known for his role in Schitt's Creek, is creating and starring in a new untitled Netflix comedy series centered on a dysfunctional organized crime family. The eight-episode show, co-created with Rachel Sennott, features Levy and Taylor Ortega as two deeply incapable siblings who are blackmailed into the world of organized crime, with Laurie Metcalf playing their mother. Levy will also serve as showrunner and executive producer under his Not a Real Production Company banner, marking the first project of his multi-project deal with Netflix following his directorial debut Good Grief. The series was officially announced during Netflix's 2025 upfront presentation, and production is slated to begin later in the year. Levy expressed enthusiasm about the project and the talented cast, anticipating that Ortega will become a household name. The show promises a blend of comedy and family drama, drawing on Levy's acclaimed writing and acting skills.
