Five Arrested in Michael Wheeler Murder Case

Five men have been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the disappearance of Michael Wheeler, 37, from Yeovil, who has been missing since August 24. Concerns were raised about Wheeler's welfare on September 16, and his car was found abandoned in Yeovil last week. The suspects, aged between their late teens and late 30s, are currently in police custody, while a sixth man remains on bail. Police have conducted searches in multiple locations and are treating the case as a murder inquiry. Detective Chief Inspector Lorett Spierenburg emphasized that Wheeler's family is being supported by specially-trained officers. The arrested individuals are being questioned to ascertain what happened to Wheeler and if any criminal offenses occurred.
