Two Fatal Vehicle Crashes in Texas on February 6

On February 6, 2025, two tragic vehicle accidents occurred in Texas, resulting in fatalities. Aaron Moses Collazo, 40, from Houston, was killed after becoming trapped in the cab of a dump truck he was operating in Pine Hill, while attempting to dump concrete when the truck jackknifed. Collazo was pronounced dead at the scene, and his family was subsequently notified. In a separate incident on the same day, 25-year-old Jordan Taylor from Andrews lost control of his 2019 Dodge Ram on Southeast County Road 1000, crashing into a fence and ending up in a field. Taylor was taken to Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, where he succumbed to his injuries on February 10. Both incidents are under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
