Bryce Perkins Named UFL Offensive Player of Year
Michigan Panthers quarterback Bryce Perkins was named the 2025 UFL Offensive Player of the Year, becoming the first quarterback to earn the honor after missing three games due to injury and finishing fourth in passing yards. Perkins led the Panthers to the UFL Championship game against the DC Defenders, recording 1,342 passing yards, nine passing touchdowns, and five rushing touchdowns. St. Louis Battlehawks linebacker Pita Taumoepenu won Defensive Player of the Year for leading the league in sacks and anchoring a top defense. Panthers cornerback Kedrick Whitehead Jr. received the Special Teams Player of the Year award. Award winners were chosen by a panel of league executives, coaches, players, media, and broadcast partners. The UFL Championship game will be held on Saturday, June 14, in St. Louis.
