Sean Kingston and Mother Plead Not Guilty to Fraud Charges

Rapper Sean Kingston, whose real name is Kisean Anderson, and his mother, Janice Turner, have pleaded not guilty to charges of defrauding various businesses of over $1 million. They faced arraignment in Broward Circuit Court, where a bond of $90,000 was maintained, and the next court date is set for October 11. The charges stem from allegations of organized fraud and grand theft linked to a scheme involving luxury goods, including vehicles and jewelry, initiated since October 2023. Both defendants were previously arrested in May during a SWAT raid at their residence in California. If convicted, they could each face up to 20 years in prison per count. Kingston, known for his 2007 hit 'Beautiful Girls,' is currently on probation for a prior offense related to trafficking stolen property.
