Explorer Ernest Shackleton's Ship, the Quest, Found

The wreckage of the Quest, Sir Ernest Shackleton's final Antarctic expedition ship, has been discovered off the coast of Labrador by a Royal Canadian Geographical Society-led expedition. Shackleton died aboard the ship in 1922, and it later served in various roles before sinking in 1962. The vessel was found intact, lying at a depth of 390 meters, near where it was reported to have sunk. Renowned shipwreck hunter David Mearns, known for other significant discoveries, detailed the wreck's condition and position during the recent press conference, expressing excitement for the upcoming phase to photograph and document the shipwreck and artifacts.
