Boston Legacy FC Reveals Swan Crest, Sets Stadium Plans

Boston Legacy FC, the National Women's Soccer League's 15th club, has unveiled a new swan-themed crest designed by Matthew Wolff after a five-month design process. The crest features a swan with eight feathers, honoring the eight original NWSL teams, including the former Boston Breakers, and references Boston's Zakim Bridge. The swan symbolizes integrity, grit, and style, while connecting to Boston's green spaces and waterways. The rebrand follows a previous launch as BOS Nation FC, which was changed after negative fan feedback. Boston Legacy FC will play its inaugural 2026 season at Gillette Stadium before relocating to a renovated White Stadium. The club aims to honor Boston's sports legacy while building a new identity for the future.
