The ensemble, including a white Hanes t-shirt, a light grey cut-off sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black canvas shoes, was worn in scenes where his character is in prison before execution. The costume was acquired by an overseas collector and came with a production costumer’s tag detailing its use in the film. The sale coincides with Diddy's ongoing federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial, where he faces multiple charges and potential life imprisonment. The trial has featured testimony from several high-profile witnesses, including a woman testifying under the pseudonym "Jane Doe," who described personal encounters with Diddy and testified about a threesome he likened to a sports “trifecta.” Despite defense motions alleging prosecutorial misconduct, a mistrial has been denied, and the trial is expected to last eight to ten weeks.
