Willy Wonka Experience Creator Sentenced for Harassment

William Coull, the 36-year-old organizer of the controversial Willy Wonka Experience in Glasgow, has been exposed as a sex offender after repeatedly harassing a woman with explicit messages and images from March to July 2024. Despite being told to stop, he sent her explicit texts and pictures, referring to her as his 'prey.' The Willy Wonka Experience itself, which cost families £35 per ticket, was criticized for being poorly organized and left many children upset, ultimately leading to its cancellation. Coull pled guilty to abusive conduct and was placed on the sex offenders register for one year, sentenced to 120 hours of unpaid work, and will be under supervision for a year. The court noted that Coull's mental health deteriorated amid significant media scrutiny, including a documentary about him. His actions have resulted in the ruin of his career as a former charity worker.
