NFP Acquires UK Firm Clay GBP, Expands Ground Control Operations

NFP, an Aon company, has expanded internationally by acquiring Clay GBP Ltd., a London-based business management firm, which will be integrated into its subsidiary Ground Control Business Management and rebranded accordingly. Clay GBP, founded in 2014, specializes in accounting, taxation, and business advisory services for high-net-worth clients in the sports, media, and entertainment sectors. The acquisition allows NFP to enhance its specialized business services and meet the global needs of its clients, particularly in areas like bookkeeping, tax planning, and estate management. Key partners from Clay GBP will join Ground Control as managing directors, reporting to CEO Chris Bucci. Bucci emphasized the alignment of both companies' missions centered on building trust and understanding with clients. The deal marks a significant move for Ground Control as it seeks to establish a presence in the UK market.
