Daredevil Dons Black Armor Amid New Challenges
Daredevil is revisiting one of his most iconic and controversial looks as he dons his black armor again in Daredevil #20, a decision driven by the disappearance of a neighbor's child. This armor, first introduced during the 'Fall from Grace' storyline, represents a period of personal turmoil for Matt Murdock, who has recently ended his role as a priest, a storyline centered around his battle with the Seven Deadly Sins. In Daredevil #19, Matt faces the embodiment of his inner Wrath, making difficult choices between saving his best friend or his arch-nemesis, Bullseye, ultimately unable to prevent Bullseye's death. Meanwhile, the Disney+ series 'Daredevil: Born Again' picks up where the Netflix series ended, introducing Bullseye in its opening. The series revives the character, who was originally sidelined for new villains in the planned but unrealized seasons of the Netflix series.
