Former Stoneham officer charged with fraud

A former member of the Stoneham Police Department, Robert Kennedy, has been charged with wire fraud after allegedly using falsified information to get three separate apartment leases and withhold rent payments. Kennedy made between $141,000 to $187,000 a year as a police officer, but lived rent-free in various apartments by taking advantage of the slow eviction process.
