US Air Force B-21 Raider Advances in Testing

The US Air Force has released the first video of its new stealth bomber, the B-21 Raider, taking off and landing during flight testing at Edwards Air Force Base. The B-21 is set to replace older bombers like the B-1 Lancer and B-2 Spirit and will serve as the backbone of the Air Force's global strike capability, capable of delivering both conventional and nuclear munitions. Highlighted for its advanced stealth capabilities, the B-21 is designed to penetrate highly contested environments and integrate with other US and allied operations. The program is progressing well, with two flight tests occurring weekly and significant milestones met, including structural integrity tests. Production is underway, with at least 100 units planned for service by the mid-2020s.
