Multiple Arrests After Violent Robberies in Austin

Police in Austin arrested two suspects, Orlen Guillen and Nefi Amed Gomez-Lopez, in connection with a violent robbery and a previous crime, while two others remain at large. Guillen was apprehended after surveillance footage captured their vehicle's license plate, and Gomez-Lopez was caught loitering with a stolen weapon. In Stanislaus County, three men, Jonathan Witt, Benjamin Witt, and Nathan Green, were arrested following an armed robbery and a 30-minute car chase. The suspects robbed a victim of his belongings and car, leading deputies on a chase during which two guns were discarded. The pursuit ended when the stolen vehicle collided with a patrol car, and all suspects were charged with multiple offenses, including conspiracy and carjacking. Nathan Green had a prior warrant for domestic violence and assault.
