MLB Announces 2025 All-Star Game Starters Across Leagues

The 2025 MLB All-Star Game, scheduled for July 15 at Truist Park in Atlanta, will feature several notable starters from both leagues. Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh, MLB's home run leader, and Athletics rookie Jacob Wilson, the only rookie voted into the starting lineup and a strong Rookie of the Year candidate, headline the American League starters. The AL lineup also includes three Detroit Tigers players—Gleyber Torres, Riley Greene, and Javier Báez—who is starting his third All-Star Game at a third different position. On the National League side, the Los Angeles Dodgers lead with three starters: Freddie Freeman, Will Smith, and Shohei Ohtani, the top vote-getter among NL players. Chicago Cubs outfielders Pete Crow-Armstrong and Kyle Tucker will also start for the NL, with Crow-Armstrong making his first All-Star appearance and Tucker starting for the first time after three previous appearances with the Astros. Other notable NL starters include Arizona's Ketel Marte, San Diego's Manny Machado, New York Mets' Francisco Lindor, and Atlanta Braves' Ronald Acuna Jr., who secured a starting spot despite missing the first seven weeks of the season.
