Two Fatal Crashes Reported in Muskegon County

Two fatal crashes occurred in Muskegon County in recent days. In the first incident, a 20-year-old Muskegon Township man died early Sunday morning after losing control of his vehicle and crashing into trees on Russell Road near US-31, with speed and weather suspected as contributing factors. In a separate crash Wednesday night, a 49-year-old motorcyclist was killed at the intersection of Apple Avenue and Spring Street when a car driven by a 22-year-old woman collided with him as she turned onto Apple Avenue. The woman was uninjured and was arrested at the scene, with police believing alcohol was a factor in the crash. Authorities are investigating both incidents and ask anyone with information to contact local law enforcement.
