Perimeter Solutions Signs Five-Year $150M USDA Wildfire Response Deal

Perimeter Solutions has secured a five-year contract with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) valued at over $150 million in savings for the federal government and taxpayers. The agreement includes a full conversion to Perimeter's powder retardant technology, upgrades to air tanker base capacity, and a transition to Perimeter's full-service operations at most or all federal tanker bases, enhancing wildfire response capabilities and logistics. All fire retardant products for federal use under this contract will be manufactured in the United States, with an emphasis on sourcing domestic raw materials to strengthen supply chain resilience and support American manufacturing. The contract also establishes a joint USDA-Perimeter program to modernize the federal fire retardant specification and qualification process. Perimeter Solutions CEO Haitham Khouri highlighted the partnership as a commitment to American firefighters, communities, and industry, while USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins praised the deal as a win for taxpayers and rural communities. These developments aim to build a stronger, more agile system to address increasingly complex fire seasons nationwide.
