In Srinagar, two significant medical camps were organized recently, one by the Jammu & Kashmir High Court Bar Association in collaboration with Paras Hospital, and another by the GR Baig Memorial Trust with the JK Welfare Society. The Bar Association's camp, held on September 16, provided free health services to hundreds of legal professionals, offering general health assessments and consultations, while emphasizing the importance of health within the legal community. Concurrently, the GR Baig Memorial Trust's camp, inaugurated on the eve of Eid-Milad-un-Nabi, catered to around 600 patients, offering screenings for various ailments and distributing free medicines. Additional local welfare trusts also organized camps in the Hazratbal area, focusing on providing healthcare services and education on preventive care during the festive occasion. These initiatives highlight a community-driven approach to health care, demonstrating strong local support and organization. Both events underscore ongoing efforts to address health needs and foster community cohesion in the region.
