GMC Sierra EV Lineup Adds New Trims for 2026

General Motors is expanding its GMC Sierra EV lineup for 2026 by introducing two new trims, AT4 and Elevation, alongside a more affordable Standard Range battery option. This strategic move aims to lower the entry price for the Sierra EV, now starting at $64,495, significantly reducing the cost compared to previous models that began at over $100,000. The AT4 model focuses on off-road capabilities with features like 35-inch all-terrain tires and lifted suspension, while the Elevation trim offers a more economical alternative without sacrificing essential features like a 16.8-inch infotainment screen. The Sierra EV will have multiple battery options, including Standard, Extended, and Max Range, with some models offering up to 12,500 lbs of towing capacity. These changes align with GM's strategy to position the Sierra EV in the premium truck market, enhancing its appeal amidst growing competition in the EV truck segment.
