The customs authorities have a history of intercepting significant contraband, including an earlier seizure of over 2000 grams of osmium powder from two Indian nationals. The Indiana case involves serious legal repercussions for the driver, while the Liberian national's case is also being processed under the NDPS Act of 1985.
