Nagarjuna Joins Rajinikanth in Film Coolie

Veteran actor Nagarjuna has officially joined the star-studded cast of Lokesh Kanagaraj's upcoming film 'Coolie', headlined by Tamil cinema icon Rajinikanth. Announced on Nagarjuna's 65th birthday, the actor will portray a character named Simon, with his first look revealing a stylish and intense presence. 'Coolie', produced by Sun Pictures, is Rajinikanth's 171st film and is expected to be a gangster action flick separate from the Lokesh Cinematic Universe. The movie also features Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, Soubin Shahir, and possibly Aamir Khan in a cameo. Music for the film will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with cinematography by Girish Gangadharan. The highly anticipated film is set for release in the second half of 2025.
