Manhunt Launched After Rape at Tesco

A manhunt is underway after a woman reported being raped in the ladies' toilets of a Tesco supermarket in Sheerness, Kent, on October 1 between 1.37pm and 2.19pm. The victim alleges she was followed into the cubicle by a man described as eastern European, approximately 30 years old, 5ft 3in tall, and wearing a blue tracksuit. Detective Inspector Samantha Stuart from Kent Police has urged anyone who was in the supermarket during that time, particularly those who used the toilets, to come forward as witnesses. CCTV footage indicates there were several individuals in the area, including a woman who assisted the victim. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Kent Police or Crimestoppers anonymously.
