Dyson Unveils World's Slimmest PencilVac Vacuum Cleaner

Dyson has introduced the PencilVac, touted as the world's slimmest and lightest cordless vacuum cleaner, designed primarily for hard floors and set to launch in Japan in late 2025. Measuring just 38mm in diameter and weighing under four pounds, the PencilVac integrates Dyson's fastest and smallest Hyperdymium motor within its slim, broom-like handle, providing powerful suction while maintaining ergonomic usability. It features a unique Fluffycones cleaning head with four conical brush bars that eject long hair to prevent tangling, and a two-stage dust separation system that captures 99.99% of particles down to 0.3 microns, compressing dust in real-time to maximize bin capacity. The vacuum also includes a swappable battery for up to one hour of use and connectivity to the MyDyson app for monitoring maintenance. Dyson's design emphasizes portability and space-saving, aiming to appeal to urban consumers by fitting into tight spaces like cupboards and behind doors.
