Hawaii Murder Mystery in Samoa

The aunt of Tulsi Gabbard, Dr. Caroline Sinaviana-Gabbard, was tragically murdered by her protégé, Papalii Sia Figiel, following a dispute in Samoa. She was found dead inside Figiel's home, and the suspect fled the scene before turning herself in to the police. Initially arrested for manslaughter, the charges were later raised to murder after an investigation. Sinaviana-Gabbard was the older sister of Hawaii State Sen. Mike Gabbard, who expressed deep sorrow over the loss, while sharing forgiveness towards the perpetrator and emphasizing the importance of justice being served.
